AR Filters
As part of our initiative, we have created AR filters specially created to be used on teleconferencing platforms. Currently The Circle offers two different filters: Can You See Me? and Head Circle.
Can You See Me? is a narrative based AR filter denouncing the racial biased algorithm used for the virtual background feature on Zoom. It has been created to inform users on the lack of inclusivity that might originate in algorithms whilst putting users in similar scenarios.
Head Circle is an AR filter that replicates the visuals created for our installation Circles, which is hoped to intrigue other participants as the user is using this filter, concluding in some visibility of the issues that The Circle is denouncing.
